American Voters Voted To Play A Six Chamber Russian Roulette Economically & Socially.

By putting the GOP in charge is like playing Russian Roulette with all chambers loaded. They will push their extreme right agenda and workers will descend further into slavery. Women will lose more rights. And infrastructure will crumble even further. The American landscape will suffer in ways not yet imagined. And religion will continue to invade the public sector.

What is worse with so many state legislatures now in GOP control with a strong religious bent there will be a push for a Constitutional convention to reshape this government. The religious right is already on board to install the Bible as the law of the land. They demand civil laws and public laws based on the Bible and 10 Commandments.

Christian organizations are coalescing and already announcing plans for new militancy against secular government.

citizens over 45 who voted for the Republicans. I would have thought we were more informed than that.

2. The +45'er's Seem To Think They Won't Need Social Security & Medicare.

The younger ones I talked to have bought the idea they won't have either program. That means without either they won't survive economically. The think they will work until the die or as long as they want in good jobs. As a former DOL employee, the new corporate and business model will toss them aside before they are 50 to the minor leagues of Walmart and burger flipping.

The younger generation has bought into the idea that they will have multiple successful career changes making as much or more money as they get older. That meme is a lie. Very few workers survive economically under such labor conditions. With no social contract with employers and no safety net 90% of these voters are headed for a miserable and poor old age. They will truly be a "dog food" generation when they reach their older years.

What I have said may sound stark, but it is what will happen if the GOP scraps everything it wants to. Just read the old libertarian Koch platform and the outcome for the nation should be obvious if that platform were to become reality.

3. Yes. As a senior citizen myself, I was stunned. There must be some other countervailing factors

that are causing them to vote against their best interests.

4. GOP propagandists told seniors that Dems were cutting Medicare to pay for 'Obamcare'

It was all over RW propaganda media and FOX and in GOP ad campaigns.

The corporate news media refused to address the lies of the GOP's narrative.

It is difficult for candidates to cut through the wall of BS when the news media refuses to do their part.

5. The Media Was Instrumental In Handing The Election To The GOP

The GOP did not need the billionaires when the media gave the GOP 24/7 positive coverage. Any time a Dem was on they were challenged. All the GOP stuff was allowed to go on and on and on and on. I have never seen a "liberal?" media been so obvious and blatant in their GOP suppert.

Medicare when it was obvious that Republican governors were denying billions of dollars of Medicaid expansion funds from their citizens.

At the heart of the political matter in the U.S. is that the Republican propagandists are seasoned professionals. American citizens are innocent victims of such skillful and pervasive inundations of misinformation. Like shooting fish in a barrel.

Note that after WWII, our intelligence agency hired numerous Nazi propagandists to work for our Government. Later, when the public found out, most of the Nazi propagandists left the Government, many signing on with the Republican Party. (If you would like more about this, just research the topic on the INTERNET. There's lots of material on that subject.)

for Medicare vouchers. Hopefully, our President will block that if ever comes to his desk. I am very worried about the damage Ryan can and will do if he gets control.

Compliant and complacent populations run by the new social control. Too lazy to become informed. Militarized police will take care of those who are not, then there are those private prisons to take care of the carcasses. Future looks bleak indeed.
