And insulting ACA ads aimed at them and Lena Dunham dancing around in her underwear didn't help at all.
My 2 cents, YMMV.

(14,881 posts)and are now flipping burgers with degrees they can't pay for?
We had a young lead customer service rep at my job who has a masters in biz administration. You can't sucker people into taking out loans with false job promises, who will spend the rest of their lives trying to pay of massive loans at low wage jobs with no future.
My daughter is a perfect example. She volunteered for Obama in the past 2 elections.
Since 2012, she graduated, started repaying her student loans and is now laid off her job and can't find work. And while the ACA had significant benefits for some, the mandate requires these recent grads to purchase health insurance many can't afford just starting out. Not everyone can go on their parents healthcare plans.
They are disillusioned and we are now paying the price for that.

(10,602 posts)Not voting was NOT and option for these kids. Sure the Dems did not give them what they needed. It was the GOP that stopped everything. There were a lot of good bills the GOP just stopped. Now this is NO CHANCE to lower interest rates or create better jobs we need. With the GOP in charge there will be more outsourcing. And Dems in charge would have probably stopped TPP.
