Jan Schakowsky for DNC Chair! She is amazing.

Listening to her on Stephanie Miller. She is a woman with a spine of steel that always speaks forcefully and intelligently about progressive ideals.

First thing she said is that she already called the DGA and asked them wth happened?
How did we let so many republican governors lose?

She just said we need to use this Republican takeover to our advantage.

If they want to impeach the President over immigration, have fun. They will never win another Presidential election.
They want to repeal Obamacare? Let them try to take away healthcare from 8 million people.

Everything she said is right now is the perfect time to showcase the differences between the 2 parties (yes there are differences on social issues).

She tactfully went after Allison Grimes for running away from the President and gave a great example of what Allison should have said.

I could go on and on. But here we have a woman that is articulate, confident and a true liberal.

Thoughts?

She's awesome, and she can afford to be outspoken because she represents a mostly liberal district. I don't know if she'd be interested in the position, but the Democratic party has a lot of talented people. It would be good to see a new chair with some gusto.

leaving Congress for.

The only reason we have a Congress member doing the job now is nobody want it, IMO.

Trying to keep 50 state chair people who think they are the best and the brightest and the Dist of DC and the territories happy is a tough job.

It's not even a federal job and nobody knows who the boss is, since you are hired by the Dem Party convention subcommittee max 4 yr contract and no sighing bonus.

In that position. It's been run by white people much too long.

She sounds impressive by what you say. Just give someone who is brave and doesn't run from the GOP hooligans.
