Look ahead Dems: Young war vet Jefferson Jackson has what it takes to be our next Elizabeth Warren.

This young Dem lawmaker in NC has a fearlessness, the service resume, the integrity, and the smoothness (which I am not a fan of on its own without the integrity). I am tired of the Debbie W Schultz style of representing Dems on broadcast media - they make me cringe.

Upworthy posted this video of Jefferson Jackson last month, but, it deserved more attention. And Dems here at DU certainly do need to see our bright spots at this time. I think Jeff Jackson will win a congressional seat in his GOP-leaning district. Pittenger's seat, to be more specific. For starters. Then I can see a Sen. Jeff Jackson replacing the BushRepublicans Burr or Tillis.

From Upworthy:

He Goes Off For 6 Minutes On All The Politicians Sitting Right In Front Of Him. It's. Just. Great.

So few politicians are worthy of praise, but Jeff Jackson may be one of them. Everything he says for the first three and a half minutes is a fantastic summation of what's wrong with our political process. At 3:47, though, he plays the blame card — just not in the way you'd expect.

So there's that.

Pretty soon, they'll be renaming political dinner parties after him.

Or, they merely had one helluva sense of humor.

What did you think about his off-the-cuff remarks?

You need to offer another OP and put his name in its title. Stardom starts little, but he needs some small degree of fame here to be noticed by anyone who can get him a spot on a news program or talk show....
