Reid is politically vulnerable to a challenge from the governor of Nevada so they won't remove him.

regarding who should be the replacement. I also think that Dem. leadership has been rather ineffective but I do not know who I would want to replace them.

We do need people who are ready to start fighting back because the Rs are going to try some pretty terrible things. So we need people who cannot only keep the party in line but also explain what they are doing to the people.
