play hardball with the Republicans. They have nothing to lose at this point and need to show the masses that the Republicans are only interested in their own agenda and not fulfilling the will of the people.

The problem with both parties amounts to the absence of a spine in the Democratic Party and the Republicans are like pirannhas eating their own alive. Democrats need to learn how to play the game better which is why that constantly get nailed in the media.
