spending and such to create jobs? Cause psychopaths will take something away from people, and blame it on the other guy, in order to give their the people a grievance, they can then remedy, by giving back, what they took away.

(23,295 posts)I still think any so-called moderates left in their party will be screamed at if they appear to cooperate. The thing for the president to do is continue what he started. Maybe try to get photographed with as many repugs as he can, especially teabaggers.
Oh, and invite them to the White House like, every day, to meet with him.

(50,559 posts)In 2010, they campaigned on the promise that Tea Party leadership would create jobs. The House flipped to the Republicans.
In 2012, they campaigned on the promise that putting a "successful businessman" in the White House and giving him a Republican Congress would create jobs. This didn't work, mainly because people didn't want Gordon Gekko to be president.
In 2014, they campaigned on the promise that thwarting Obama would "give us our country back." They're not even TRYING to create jobs anymore.
