Creepy new Amazon product I thought was satire

Remember all those sci-fi movies where people's homes included some type of omnipresent artificial intelligence, listening to your commands and responding with helpful tips? Well, Amazon just announced it's going to start selling one.

I was sure this was satire when I first saw this.
If I find this creepy does that mean I'm old?
