RE-ORGANIZE NOW..We will lose in 2016 big time.
Hillary is not the candidate we can win with. She is not a Democrat she is a corporatist Republican. if we want more voters to stay home we need to nominate her. Democrats better get it together and not in Sept or Oct of 2016 (which is when that usually make a push in an election)
That means cleaning house in the DNC leadership and getting rid of the
Republican lite DNC Chair Wasserman Schultz. The Florida Democratic State leadership is just nothing but BS and she allowed that to happen. The DCCC is pulling ads n Louisiana in support of Mary Landrieu runoff election So WTF is going on there.
But back to Debbie Schultz in case you read this You should be ashamed the way you so disorganized the DNC for this election and its like you wanted to hand the Repukes these victories on a platter.(especially in Florida) If you haven't resigned yet you should be fired.

(13,305 posts)The Republicans actually listened to the Tea Party types. The Democrats get points for beating up their more liberal base. It doesn't win them elections, but it wins them praise from the DC media types which is all Dems care about anyway.
Progressives are NOT equivalent to the Tea Party within the Dem party. The Repugs need the Tea Party. The Dems don't need to pay any attention to us -- they can always get our vote.

(11,417 posts)together. People are saying there was nothing for me to vote for so I didn't vote. So now you better give me something to vote for or I'll stay home again.
Each time you do that more fucking Repubs get into office now Dems have zero power and you say they better get it together! How fucking backwards!

(606 posts)Democrats could win with a different message, but they don't want to. The Party leadership know what they believe, and ideologically they are closer to the former Republican Party than the FDR/Great Society era Democratic Party. They don't believe this silly left-wing rubbish - that's only for the rubes that vote for them. The big problem for them is how to sell their message to a base that has a fundamentally different worldview than they do. We are their crazies, their tea party, who are outrageously still followers of outdated and empirically false ideologies like democracy, liberalism, and peace. Each of these concepts has been scientifically proven* to be inefficient and burdensome to the advancement of man kind, but the peasants won't let go. And for some reason no-one wants to fight and die for the ideology they invented to replace it.
* Scientifically proven for those think that conjecture and argument by economics professors is equal to truth from the mouth of God. So basically the Ivy League, from whence our Party Leadership came.
