Clearly holding on to these decisions as to not stir the pot before the elections. Just as the Constitution clearly intended.

There are conflicting decisions in the circuits, with the DC Circuit striking down the relevant provision and the Fourth Circuit upholding it. That typically results in the Supreme Court taking a case. As for timing, the challenge to the Fourth Circuit case was filed July 31 and the final round of briefs was filed October 15. The timing for issuing a ruling is about what one would expect.

We'll give subsidies to gas and oil corporations - and flat out clean up their messes for them . . .

But people can't get a little of their hard earned dollars back to help pay for the health issues oil and gas cause them?

See - that's bullshit.

Insurance is no longer insurance. You used to pay your premiums and get covered when you went to the Doctor. Now, all you do is pay and pay and pay again. And then finally, if you're not already bankrupt, you then get to pay the 20% coinsurance. If we really want a national health plan like the rest of the industrialized world, it starts with the SCOTUS and Republicans overturning it. That would be the ultimate win for us because the backlash against them for doing it would enable us to make a major push for a real nationwide health plan. Medicare Part E(everyone). Call me crazy, but I really think it could be a win/win in the end.

It could just as easily backfire on us. People are really gullible. This could be the final blow to the dem party for decades. We are screwed. I hope I am wrong. But people will just blame the president

Then everyone will blame Obama for having to spend half their paycheck for insurance that doesn't cover everything. After 2 years of insane insurance premiums, no one will ever vote for a Democrat ever again.

It will most likely be a determining factor for my family whether we remain in our current state or move to one with an exchange
