Dear Friend of Wildlife,

Great Plains bison finally have a chance to once again roam the western tribal lands they were driven from over 100 years ago.

This is a stunning comeback, but it won’t happen without the immediate financial support of friends of wildlife like you.

Please make this remarkable homecoming possible. Donate today to help us raise the $100,000 needed to move 139 bison back to their ancestral western tribal lands and protect at-risk wildlife.

Once numbering 40 million, majestic bison were slaughtered to the brink of extinction. Their restoration has been agonizingly slow.

Together, we are working to change this. Supported by the generosity of friends like you, National Wildlife Federation, in partnership with tribal leaders and others, is spearheading efforts to return bison to their native habitat and establish wild bison herds across the West.

We’ve now reached a critical point. The Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission just agreed to allow 139 wild bison from Yellowstone National Park to be moved to their historic range on Assiniboine and Sioux tribal lands on Fort Peck Reservation in Montana.

Your gift can get them there. Please make a donation now to help bring these wild bison home and protect wildlife throughout the country.

When these 139 wild bison finally walk onto the vast acreage of their native habitat on tribal lands in Montana, it will mark one of the greatest triumphs in wildlife conservation history.

This is where wild bison belong. Freely roaming our western prairie grasslands.

Your gift can give them a lift home! Donate now to help relocate wild bison to their natural range on tribal lands and safeguard wildlife around the country.

Your generosity today will have an immense impact for wild bison and other vulnerable wildlife. Thank you for being the voice for wildlife that have no voice of their own.

Sincerely,

AndyAndy Buchsbaum
