How progressive is the Congressional Black Caucus?

And what percentage are they of the entire Democratic Caucus?

And how many Latinos, women, and white men are in the caucus?

If the House keeps shrinking, how long before they are the majority in the Democratic Party?

Do you feel more comfortable with the CBC or with the present leadership of the Party?

The speak out more often, loudly, and are fighters who don't mince words. John Lewis goes after Issa fiercely. We need more dems to get some fire in their bellies. They never pretend not to be liberals.

Steve Cohen, whose TN09 district in Memphis is majority African American, tried to join but was rebuffed.

There is a separate Hispanic caucus.

And yeah, pretty progressive. Keith Ellison, Maxine Waters, John Lewis: the list goes on.
