Which says everything about his bias. Funny that it is always compliments for fox, when their accuracy, misrepresentation and out right lies has been exposed time and again

Just another media right wing shrill. I Ho said President Obama is unpopular? Maybe with the right wing racist pigs who have destroyed journalism in this country.

The pendulum will turn and these creeps will be forgotten and left in the dust of their miserable existence

My favorite is Ed Schultz.

I miss Dylan Ratigan.

Is it a perfect progressive TV channel?
No.

But is it an alternative to Fox and CNN?
Yes.

For all its flaws, I'm very glad I can tune into MSNBC.

It is just too painful. They have gotten rid of some sterling people and each day reach further and further to the right.

Yes, MSNBC is getting somewhat dated. Yes, some of the hosts come off as tone-deaf (wink to Chuck Todd and Chris Matthews). Yes, MSNBC's ratings are in the tank. However, they've been that way for a while. A big reason for this is that they hardly have anything besides LockUp and Caught on Camera during weekends--just Melissa Harris-Perry and Up with Steve, which both air super early for many people. Other networks not named FOX siphon liberal/moderate viewership from them, as well.
Also, it doesn't seem like the hosts are as pro-Obama as he makes them out to be, either. With the exception of Al Sharpton on PoliticsNation, I've heard people on other shows criticize him plenty of times on issues like the TPP, immigration, proposed SS cuts, the NSA, his disapproval numbers, and his foreign policy. Wolff was making it out like they agree with Obama on every single thing. He more than likely doesn't watch MSNBC that often, and is going by what he hears from other people.

Additionally, I thought most of the reporting during the mid-term was geared toward the Republicans' and away from the literal truth. How many times did you hear the term "Republican wave"? The truth of the matter was that it was not a wave. Most of the elections were in red states which generally always vote Republican and a couple of purple states. When one looks at many of these races being "too close to call" that seems to point towards Dems giving the GOP a good run for the money (pun intended) in places Dems do not normally score well. I thought it was disgusting how disingenuous overall that network's reporting was.

I guess I picked a good time to cut my cable (albeit for financial reasons). Between the recent chicken littleness on MSNBC and the Raiders losing, I'm definitely not missing much.
