The propaganda will be off the chart this election.

(15,189 posts)I guess women aren't voting. How does Rmoney get rid of that huge gap and the Latino vote. Oh and the Teabaggers that won't vote for him. And isn't Newt still in this? If the voting fraud sticks, they are going to need another choice. I wouldn't be surprised if Palin already has her hand in that one. It's not going to be an easy walk for Rmoney to get the nomination. Still to come IMO the rise of Repuke women. Ann Coulter, Sarah Palin. If there is just one chance of Rmoney being disqualified, she is going to pounce on this so fucking fast. You Betcha!

(30,439 posts)Polls showing Obama ahead get little play while polls that show them tied or Romney leading slightly get hyped like there's no tomorrow.
The media wants ratings. They don't want a blow out. It would be bad for business.

(27,787 posts)He only beat McCain by 6%.
If Obama has a consistent lead of 7+%, the 24 hour news cycle stops being interesting.
So they need a few polls to pull it all back in to maintain the "battle" aspect.
Obama should win by 20%. But that's boring.

(5,918 posts)If you don't think Obama's in trouble you're deluding yourself. The 2008 mojo is gone. If he wins by 2 million I'd be surprised...this just might be another 2000.

(32,068 posts)Everybody was saying all the polls were wrong in 2010 and that Democrats would gain seats. Polls are right more often than not particularly when you average them. But some love to live life in denial.

(16,399 posts)In addition to the 30 to 35 percent of total asshole Rethugs, there are 10 - 15% of people who are easily led into thinking "Obama has been a failure".
