election as a purge of conservative Democrats. It really looks bad for Third-Wayers. Of course, they tend to run in tough contests. Still, when Democrats are clear about what they stand for and show how different that is from what Republicans stand for, Democrats get more voters to come out and vote.
The Republican strategy of blocking all of Obama's best ideas worked for the Republicans.
Now let's see if Democrats can respond by showing their strength and not cooperating with Republicans. It's the only way Democrats will be able to define our party and show whose side they are on.
So, the purging I have been talking about has already happened and is already happening. Just look at the election results.

The ad for Time had a picture of a cover of the magazine featuring Robert Redford. The last edition was a take-off on the famous Obama picture with "change" written on it.
Except instead of Obama's face it was McConnell's ugly so-called face.
The Democratic leadership is way off base and by no means aggressive enough politically. A bunch of defeatists who fight for nothing. And who pays? Low-income, working people and small business owners. That's who.
If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. It's very hot for the 99% right now. And if Democratic politicians who are doing well themselves in most cases can't take the heat, they should switch parties. It would be more honest of them.
