5. I am waiting foe a solid plan to handle ISIS, got any ideas?

Invading Iraq was a very bad decision, but what can be done to curtail ISIS.

...giving limited help to an improved Iraqi government to turn the fight around. Malaki screwed things up badly and caused the problems, but he's been succeeded by a more inclusive leadership group that deserves a chance.

We are about at the point where the insurgents step up to having something like a real military organization.

The US military is designed to destroy opposing military organization. Theoretically the difficulties arising from the asymmetry of fighting disorganized bands of insurgents disappears.

Camps, vehicle parks, and moving columns make GREAT targets for exactly the type of weapons that the US has at its disposal.

The war evolves away from counter-insurgency and towards conventional.

10. Where would you attack ISIS first and would this be the only place to take action?

Would you suggest going it alone or with a collation of other countries. I am not concerned with our military ability, there are smart generals available. There are issues which Congress needs to handle, this is a major holdup. Do we have a Congress smart enough to handle putting this issue on the floor and getting anything past.

other countries would be happy with the US doing most of the spending on munitions.
