BELLEVUE, Neb. -- Four candidates are vying for a seat on Bellevue's City Council.
Republican Scott Houghtaling is fighting to keep his position representing Ward I. His challengers are Libertarian Michael Knebel, Democrat Steve Dawes and Republican Steve Carmichael.
Michael Knebel believes pride in homeownership will push residents to make sure projects are done right.
"I think we can be trusted with a little bit more personal freedom from our local government," said Knebel.
