I'm in Congressman Bobby Rush District...which is about 70% A.A's now, but when I first moved here, it was about 45% African-American. I voted against Rush when Obama was trying to unseat him and that's was one that Obama lost. (and my district is still voting Rush into office. I haven't seen or heard from him in many years).

Remember how they blustered on the media about "election integrity" and "the right to vote"?

Remember how they quickly called for investigations, saying repeatedly that fair, free and honest elections were the bedrock of a successful democracy?

Remember when all those political operatives had to stand trial? Remember when they were sentenced?

Remember how good you felt when you saw someone defending true American values?

Yeah, neither do I.

Electric power cut to voting locations in Florida, 40,000 new voter registrations
being lost in Georgia, N.C. reports of machines flipping votes, TN's weird results
http://www.democraticunderground.com/10025795373 , 32 Republican Sec. of States
using a software that "spots" voters who might be "double voting" from one
state to another, Walker's win in Wisconsin, and all the people in Kansas voting
for the person and a policy that is crushing their state.

I heard the other morning where voting machines did not show up for the first
few hours @ an African American precinct in Louisiana and so the working people
who showed up at 6:00 had to leave and go to work and couldn't vote.

And now it turns out that the head of the Florida Democratic Party was a republican
plant.

Will he be prosecuted, or will this go down the memory hole?

Rethuglicans go to great lengths to combat non-existent voter impersonation fraud (intended effect is to disenfranchise poor people) while they systematically engage in actual fraud.

The fact that these Republican tactics and crimes are not a major national scandal is an indictment against the corporate media.

The rot and the well placed operative is all over our government,

Along with voter suppression laws, and gerrymandering. And most likely voting machine tampering and collusion with MSM news networks. Death by a thousand cuts.

It happened here in Canada in the last election. It went to trial and of course no link was found to the Conservative Party that won the election. A "lone gunman" peon was found guilty and fell on his sword. I'm sure he'll be richly rewarded for his actions. ......meanwhile the Cons are still in power, as are the Republicans.
