GOP pushing revisionist history since election victory

I guess they figure this is the time. I'm hearing a lot of Republicans claiming not just that FDR destroyed the economy by creating the New Deal, but also that the Robber Barron era was the best era for the US - including or even especially working people - and that civil rights legislation has hurt and hurts African Americans.

I think they know they're lying, but it seems like after they lie and lie and lie long enough, they start to believe it themselves.

We still have work to do. Stop sulking over this election. You can see by their revisionist history where they want to go, and it isn't good.

Back during the previous administration The Nation ran a few articles about how the GOP's objective was to restore the Gilded Age. I'll have to see if I can find the references.
