The right knows how to play Americans like a fiddle.

They got people to vote for W in 2000.
That put Roberts on the court and we got citizens united. In 2010 they convinced us to stay home and they took the House and took over a bunch of states to gerrymander them and restrict voting. In 2014 they again convinced us to stay home and they get the Senate and more states.
Next they will make it impossible for us to win the Presidency.

So much for the dying party of old white men.
I need to find a way to not get depressed as our new lords rip the heart out of this country. I am so fucking angry with people who don't bother to vote. Please don't give me that nothing to vote for bull shit.

So delusional I see some still think they are going to reverse all of this in 2016.

We can't give up though. ! I don't want to live in a one party totalitarian state !! If Dems fold 2016. The party will be extinct like the Whigs and yes something better will come out if it but the USA will be destroyed and there won't be a opposition party if at all for at least a generation !

Thinking a party of 50 million is nothing but old white guys.

The other is. They didn't get us to stay home. We did that on our own.

than ugly truths. And I challenge anyone on this board to tell me that what I wrote is not an accurate description of the slow-motion implementation of the Powell Memorandum from the 1970s.

The right is winning elections through record low voter turnout, a lot of cheating (gerrymandering, vote suppression, etc), and most importantly, the fact that the left has no options so they all stay home.

out of power is a reason to vote. I guess this is not a popular view here but you see what it gets us to not see it as a reason.
