I am pissed that a young man has lost his life and instead of the crowd strategizing for petitions of recall, voting some people out of office and things that will make a difference, there is looting, burning of police cars, firing guns, and seeking confrontation with the police, a battle they cannot win. It is so sad that in the midst are people who really thought that they could have positive protest of the verdict. One reason Dr. King was so successful is that he taught the demonstrators that when America looks into your protest, you must always show peaceful resistance. Flame away. This sh*t makes no sense and making excuses for violent protest is unacceptable.

2. Quite true, I agree so much. Dr. King knew how to work the system to get results. Violence plays

into the hands of the oppressors. I still believe voting works and a major effort to vote people out of office would be most effective and would have long term implications.
