One of the very few times a game was ever called off at Chavez Ravine for any reason, and mine got cancelled on account of riot.
I remember President Bush, and Mayor Bradley, both appealing for calm against a split screen image of rioters. It's why I found it unusual earlier this evening, when some posters here were saying it was an unprecedented occurrence.
