St. Louis county is around 25% black if I remember right so 3 out of 12 black jury members would be an accurate representation of the jury pool and area covered.

8. The Grand Jury has to keep a certain ratio according the the demographics of the area.

therefore....there were 3 black jurists. And More MALE jurists than women jurists.
