Darren Wilson Should Have Been Tested for Drug Use
I was listening to some of Wilson's testimony. The things he said seem like the things said by a person who was high on drugs. It seems like he was having hallucinations. First, Wilson, who is 6'4" and 210-240 lbs., described part of his confrontation with Michael Brown, who was 6'6" and 300 lbs., as a five year old kid fighting Hulk Hogan. Wilson said, "When I grabbed him, the only way I can describe it is, I felt like a five year old holding onto Hulk Hogan. Hulk Hogan, that's how big he felt and how small I felt just from grasping his arm." Wilson also claimed Brown looked like a demon. How many people do you know who would describe a person, angry or otherwise, as looking like a demon? How does one, angry or otherwise, look like a demon, unless you are high? If Brown had shot Wilson and then claimed Wilson looked like a demon I am fairly sure Brown would have been drug tested. Wilson also claimed that as things escalated he warned Brown that he (Wilson) would shoot him (Brown). Wilson goes on to say, "He grabs my gun and says 'you are too much of a p**** to shoot me.' The gun goes down to my hip, and at that point I thought I was getting shot. I can feel his fingers try to get inside the trigger guard with my finger and I distinctly remember envisioning a bullet going into my leg." The thing that stand out for me is that Wilson said he envisioned the bullet going into his leg. I may be misunderstanding what Wilson was trying to say, but it seems to me that Wilson thought he had been shot in the leg. At another point Wilson claimed Brown ran away from the car, but then turned around and ran toward him. Wilson said, "I tell, keep telling him to get on the ground, he doesn't. I shoot a series of shots. I don't know how many I shot, but I shot it" The thing that interest me here is that Wilson said he shot "it". Did Darren Wilson even realize he was shooting at a person? Wilson also said that when Michael Brown was looking at him it seemed that Brown was not just looking at him, but looking through him.
Could the chance that Darren Wilson was high at the time of the shooting be another reason the police waited two hours before bringing him to the hospital?
