Pat Robertson: ArcheAge, Dungeons & Dragons Lead To Demonic Possession
Submitted by Brian Tashman on Tuesday, 11/25/2014 11:55 am
Pat Robertson offered a stern warning today against playing games such as ArcheAge and Dungeons & Dragons, insisting that they may lead to demonic possession. Robertson, who has frequently attacked Dungeons & Dragons, even tying the game to suicide, said on The 700 Club this morning that the game led people to do horrible things and it was almost like an invitation to demonic possession, while conceding that he has never heard of ArcheAge. I think we shouldnt get ourselves involved in something we are roleplaying a thing having to do with demonic forces, he said.

(8,311 posts)It's a friggin' CARD GAME.
Heck, the most Conservative Christian people on my Facebook friends list played both M:TG and Dungeons and Dragons back when I was playing. I don't know if they have any groups set up now, but they were fundies even back in the day, and they realized it was just a friggin' game.

(33,688 posts)gonna take a shot at the Brony community, of which I am a part. Magic is an integral part of the poniverse and there IS - shock, horror - a CARD game. We are also said to be ignoring traditional gender lines.
The sad thing is that there so many out there who unquestioningly believe the cretinous old fraud and the countless ones like him.
