18 women with very similar accusations: Bill Cosby is an alleged serial rapist.

18 women have now come forward with very similar accusations against Bill Cosby.

That Cosby DRUGGED and RAPED/Sexually Assaulted most, if not all of them.

8 of the women have taken lie detector tests and passed.

Bill Cosby has refused to take a polygraph. Even if it isn't admissible in court, it could go a long way to clearing him if he truly were innocent. I'm guessing he is guilty as hell but the legal system needs to investigate and if evidence warrants, prosecute Cosby.

.......................................

As I've said before, until rape becomes a FEDERAL civil rights issue, we'll continue to see county and state police and prosecutors turn a blind eye to rape accusations or help cover it up or sweep it under the rug.

Steubenville, Oh
Jameis Winston and FSU.
The Coz
just to name a few, think of how many unreported rape/SA's that have happened where women won't come forward, knowing they'll be treated like the criminal by police or prosecutors.

No wonder so many women are reluctant to ever report rape.

Rape is becoming one of the most UN/UNDERPROSECUTED crimes of our society.

Our society needs to pass laws that enable the federal govt to investigate/prosecute if warranted, when it appears that a local prosecutor dropped the ball on a rape complaint by ignoring or conspiring to cover it up. Like murder, there should be no statute of limitations on prosecuting rape. If Cosby raped back in the 70's he should still be fully indictable for that crime.

Until this happens, America is the land of unpunished serial rapists.

Unprosecuted rape is a societal cancer that can only be cured by tough federal laws.

is said rape case based on hate..

One could argue that rapists tend to hate women. But that has to be proven beyond a shadow of doubt in a court of law.

Not trying to disagree with you, Unblock. IMO it would be very difficult to prove unless the rapist were yelling something like "I hate women." while committing the act.

However, I think rape should have a similar FEDERAL legal intervention the way that hate crimes do(even when they sometimes go unprosecuted, at least our society gets it right occasionally, like with the federal prosecution of Timothy Mcveigh). When a local or state doesn't prosecute a possible rape, it's time for federal intervention/investigation and prosecution, if warranted.

Of course, that would require a new federal law..

defending Cosby. They say so many are just jumping on a bandwagon. Of course if only one came forward it would be that they think that no other women coming forward means she is just a lone crazy person after some kind of fame or after Cosby's money. So, I guess women just can't be believed by too many people.
