30. There was one who has nearly a hundred posts since October who really showed his tail.

No one even spoke to him or alerted as he got more and more outrageous. I would have alerted on all of them. The fact that no one challenged him after repeated posts, told the tale. I thought he was asking to be banned.

I was exhausted and upset and figured alerting would do no good. At certain times of day there will be no hides.

But the one and five post wonders did get shown the door. I was on a jury for one of those and suprised it got hidden. The only vote to allow the post to stay said pretty much worse stuff is allowed, so who cares?

But MIRT had already delivered pizza as I went to look at the thread...

Unfortunately, we have heavy handed oppression at the bottom, license at the top and the top make sure their protectors (cops, industrialists, bankers) enjoy the same freedom to do whatever they damned well please with no fear of the law.

A lot of people seemed genuinely surprised that a GJ spent 3 months being bullied to come up with "not enough for an indictment."

Unless we can afford to pass for ruling class, we're no account, shiftless poor folks.

The problem with being black is that no matter how highly placed on the corporate, military or academic ladder you are, you're automatically shunted into the "poor, underclass, welfare queen" trope by bigots.

It's getting that way for white folks who are overweight and dress in what they can afford, leisure wear from Walmart and business attire from J.C. Penney or Men's Warehouse. If they can't afford a chef and personal trainer, they must be poor and lazy.

More and more, we're not being given the middle class benefit of the doubt. Soon, we'll be that two class society the Koch boys dream about, a tiny overclass with their bullies to keep us in line, and a vast underclass of desperate people without enough to live on and only hazy memories that it used to be better.

Unfortunately, they ruled according to MO state law, a law that is much too broad to the point of being unconstitutional, that whenever a cop feels threatened, he's allowed to use deadly force.

Think of that law being applied to women. A lot of creeper men would never see sunset.
