Chamberlain was the 68-year-old retired African-American Marine who was shot dead in his own home in White Plains, New York, in November after he inadvertently triggered his medical alert pendant.

According to this article the cop was on trial for another incident,
but I wonder if he ever came up for this death.

the cops were never charged. Who the hell sends a SWAT team to answer a MEDICAL emergency???
