It's one reason why I expect less results from body cams than most advocates do. I still think they're a good idea, but I don't expect the murder rate to go down. Juries simply refuse to convict cops.

the majority of white Americans that want so desperately to believe that police brutality is endemic to ALL of society, and not focused on a (minority) segment(s) of society.

ETA: I suspect, if this majority is not disabused of this notion, the brutality inflicted on that segment(s) of society, will, in fact, spread to All of society.
