With so many armed idiots roaming around ths country, if even one of them did a mass shooting (and happened to cite the North Korea incident in a manifesto), Sony would lose billions in lawsuits.

It was a risks vs. rewards business decision.

It seemed tasteless to me. The dictator may be a pea-brained monster, but I don't think it is a good idea to joke about assassinating a sitting leader. Now I am curious about the movie. I still think, even if I do obtain the movie to see a home at a later date, that I will not make it through the entire thing. I guess that is not the point.

Remember, this is not "we." This is Sony. I don't like the precedent, either. Sorry, Sony.

The CEO of Sony Pictures International was quoted as saying, "Well, I guess we have to give the people what they want. >wink wink< I mean, we had to pull the movie in the first place because, umm, err, North Korea would, um...do something bad to us? >giggles< But the best part is; this movie would have done mediocre sales at best if it weren't for North Korea, but now because of their insanity, it's completely hyped beyond reality. That's what I call turning lemons into lemonade! Thank you North Korea! You just bought me a new condo!"

Martin Flemming Head of Marketing for Sony pictures was asked for a comment when leaving his office, regarding if the pulling of the interview was a marketing stunt for a movie that was getting tepid reviews, he stated, "no comment".
