Why not release The Interview on Pay-Per-View?

Couldn't that be done by a Christmas Day release? Release it on ppv for cable and satellite providers, along with instant download.

This is not a movie I ever had plans to watch but this is ridiculous. If they are afraid to show it in theaters release it to home viewing. They'd probably make more from ppv with all the interest than they would on a Christmas Day release. Heck, I'd consider spending $4 on a ppv just to see if it's worth the hype-but not until after the Doctor Who Christmas special, of course.

This wasn't a film I'd planned on watching but the fact that the studios are supporting the censorship disgusts me. It's all to placate the tantrums of a little man.
