I just want to say this: Congress, MONEY is not the problem.

The problem is the everyday corruption that is nearly universally accepted in DC as the legitimate status quo when, in fact, it is NOT legitimate. Integrity may be for paupers, as Tim Russert said, but that's the deal.

Don't like the influence of Big Money? Simple. Don't freaking take it.

(In reference to footage I saw last night, from a departing Democratic Congressman on the floor.)

The voters will ignore how much money a candidate takes as long as it is "their guy/gal". I never seen anyone on this board refuse to vote for a democrat because they raised too much money.

for bad political outcomes as those who gave bad political actors their vote. (Certainly not without blame, in any case.)
