Frivolous musings (let me be) for today: Muir/Stephanopoulis. Cuba. 2016. Jeb Crow. The CLINTONs.

(PREFACE: Please, I put “frivolous/whimsical/whatever” in the thread title. If you don’t like this thread, please just skip on by without leaving snark droppings. It might be a pathetic life I lead, but I spent a lot of time and effort on this. Thanks in advance.)

STEPHANOPOULIS and David MUIR. This is just gossipy speculation from a keyboard in the hinterland, NO inside FACTS. When I saw MUIR with the big interview of the President about Cuba, I went, like, “WHOA, wasn’t the power sharing deal supposed to be that MUIR got the anchor desk and STEPHANOPOULIS would get the Big Interviews?!1 Is this a direct smackdown on George or just a sop to David who wants to be more than a knickknack on a desk?!1” And then, this morning, THERE was MUIR right in George/GMA territory giving a rundown (rubbing it IN?!1) to Robin, and I went like DOUBLE WHOA, George is INVISIBLE and probably pouting!1 And at the end, the camera shot opened up and George was THERE, at the end of the desk, on the outside so to speak, and he had nothing to say besides, “Thank you, David”!1 Zow-EE!1

Remember Coup2000 – one of the biggest reasons some of us are here?!1

1.Tom Pyle, policy analyst, office of House Majority Whip Tom DeLay (R-Tex). 2.Garry Malphrus, majority chief counsel and staff director, House Judiciary subcommittee on criminal justice. 3.Rory Cooper, political division staff member at the National Republican Congressional Committee. 4.Kevin Smith, former House Republican conference analyst and more recently of Voter.com. 5.Steven Brophy, former aide to Sen. Fred D. Thompson (R-Tenn.), now working at the consulting firm KPMG. 6.Matt Schlapp, former chief of staff for Rep. Todd Tiahrt (R-Kan.), now on the Bush campaign staff in Austin. 7.Roger Morse, aide to Rep. Van Hilleary (R-Tenn.). 8.Duane Gibson, aide to Chairman Don Young (R-Alaska) of the House Resources Committee. 9.Chuck Royal, legislative assistant to Rep. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.). 10.Layna McConkey, former legislative assistant to former Rep. Jim Ross Lightfoot (R-Iowa) now at Steelman Health Strategies.

Coup2000 was “The Perfect Storm” (Oh, I thought that reference was going to be apocryphal but Google says that movie actually debuted in 2000 based on a 1997 book about a 1991 event!1) Dominoes for our disaster fell into place: A brother in control of the Florida power machine; a SCotUS of corruption; and much more.

Well, I somewhat whimsically submit now that the dominoes of our future disaster, the reign of Jeb Crow Shrub, are being tipped as we speak:

FIRST:
Jeb Crow Shrub whipping our brave decision (I’m NOT being sarcastic; I totally agree with it) to finally end our Cuba past that has consumed most of our lifetimes. (Can certain Cubans on a long list go back there now, please?!1) So Jeb Crow Shrub is already riling up the old generation of Exiles/CIA against “OBAMA” (but really, Hillary). The New Cuba, will be the biggest Las Vegas ever, like from the past but without the overt Mafia, now fueled by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. He showed in the Terri SCHIAVO family decision that he was perfectly willing to play POLITICS and inject the thuggery side of government into family/personal decisions, and even when it was over attempted to hound the husband with potential legal harassment.

SECOND:
The CLINTONs’ uh “colorful” personal history is going to be a major domino that Jeb Crow Shrub or whoever the Repuke nominee is going to play for the biggest poker game sweepstakes ever. Exhibit 1, the picture below. As for Jeb Crow Shrub’s document dump of his gubernatorial e-mails, he’s only releasing the public policy ones that are supposed to showcase his "wisdom" and techiness, NOT his own personal dirty business ones, the gambit being to put Hillary in a corner (where she already is, always was/ always will be) to force her to dump her own trove or forever browbeat her for NOT doing it.

This picture above purports to the former president standing next to the wife and daughter of New York City grocery magnate John Catsimatidis, the owner and CEO of Gristedes Foods, the largest grocery chain in Manhattan, along with other ventures.

This Bill Clinton image ran wild across social media, and for whatever reason, the wife was cropped out in some of the retweets. ....

Catsimatidis is reportedly a long-time supporter of Bill and Hillary Clinton and even lets them hitchhike on his private jet from time to time. The billionaire businessman helped raise about $750,000 for Hillary Clinton’s failed 2008 presidential campaign and also gave big bucks to the Clinton Presidential Center among other politically-oriented contributions. He has also donated to Republicans as well as Democrats, and Catsimatidis himself ran (unsuccessfully) in the 2013 GOP primary for New York City mayor. A Forbes listing suggests that he is the 161st richest person in America.
