Yup, your version just about captures it (and Zimmerman).

5. There are several versions running up in here in Connecticut...

In one, "If you feel depressed, you go to seminars...and progresses to "If you feel positive about yourself, you go to Vegas. If you go to Vegas, you lose all your money. If you lose all your money, you sell your hair to a wig shop...Don't sell your hair to a wig shop..."

Another says that "...If there is nothing to watch on TV, you get angry; if you get angry, you take out your aggressions; if you take out your aggressions, you get an eye patch (shows a guy getting hit in the eye playing racquetball); if you get an eye patch, people think you're tough; when people think you're tough, they want to know how tough; when people want to know how tough you are, you wind up in ditch by the side of the road (visual of the dude laying in a ditch by the side of the road); Don't end up in a ditch by the side of the road...Get Direct TV.

And another one even features Charlie Sheen...somehow if your life is miserable, you end up in a bath house with Charlie Sheen reenacting scenes from Platoon.

It's a pretty bizarre series of ads, but it seems to fit the entire Zimmerman case perfectly.
