There is a book swap site called Bookmooch. I was an enthusiastic member for about 2 months until the site owner announced that Better World Books would be buying
the books we put up for a swap, and only after they had first pick would members have a chance to get the books.
( you can get a book for every 1 credit you earn by giving a book)
Immediately the quality of available books went down, all one could find was 10 year old copies of paperback 4th printings of popular writers like Grisham.

I still use Better World for cheap used books, via Amazon.

But I have changed swap sites.
