The whole Kirby Delauter may be amusing, but it's very reminiscent of the behaviour of far right British tea party wannabes the UK Independence Party as shown on the below thread in the UK forum

A UK independence party (Ukip) MEP has been ridiculed on Twitter after calling for a spoof account based in the fictional town of Trumpton to be banned.
David Coburn, the partys sole Scottish MEP, said on Tuesday that the @Trumpton_UKIP account was fake, asking his 9,000 followers to please block/report.
Since making his appeal, the Trumpton account has gained thousands of new followers, bringing the total to more than 11,000.
Dicks said Coburn had threatened to take legal action over the accounts use of the Ukip trademark and even the use of the letters U, K, I and P.

We do not have a pension policy because we know that most of our current supporters will be dead before we get any power #ukip #Trumpton
There's also THIS:

(for non-UK DU'ers...a bit of explanation...TRUMPTON was, originally, a stop-motion animation on British tv back in the 1960's. What they've done is to repurpose some of the images from the program as a commentary on contemporary British politics. There are also twitter site for the Labour, Tory, and Green Party branches located in Trumpton, as well as one for the "Trumpton National Front" .
