It would be a bit like Romney or Dubya muscling into a photo-op at a US memorial, but really somewhat closer to a Romney stunt, as Sarkozy retains political ambitions and was sort of a cultural phenomenon in France (French philosophers wrote books on "the meaning of Sarkozy," for instance).
