And while his team is out of the playoffs, the controversy over Christie’s acceptance of gifts from

Jones is far from over.

Christie entered Lambeau Field upbeat and optimistic Sunday afternoon, posing for photos on the field before heading to Jones’ box to watch the game. But whatever “mojo” Jones thought Christie’s lucky orange sweater held, it wasn’t enough to see the Cowboys advance to the NFC Championship in Seattle.

Christie left the stadium without a win and without any face time on television. And while his team is out of the playoffs, the controversy over Christie’s acceptance of gifts from Jones is far from over.

The same liberal group that filed a complaint with the state ethics commission last week, arguing that Christie should not have allowed Jones to provide him luxury-suite seats to three Cowboys games and fly his family to last weekend’s game in Dallas against the Detroit Lions, accused the governor of extortion Sunday.

The American Democracy Legal Fund, led by the president of a political action committee with ties to Democrat Hillary Clinton, on Sunday released a letter that it had sent Friday to U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman. The group asks Fishman to investigate Christie’s acceptance of gifts from Jones after the Port Authority awarded a contract to Legends Hospitality LLC, in which Jones has a leadership stake. Christie appoints members to the Port Authority board, including its chairman, and in a press released endorsed the contract to operate the observation deck at One World Trade Center. The contract was awarded in March 2013.

Amid the criticism, Christie paid for himself and his son, Andrew, to travel to and attend Sunday’s game.

He's so bad at mobsterism he wears fire engine red sweaters at the payoff. LOL. I vaguely remember when I was worried about him as a threat in 2016.

I am amazed at how long he's gotten away with his mob mentality.
Please Mr, Fishman, please.
