Way to go, Sam, you lying, self-righteous sack. Have fun, Kansas!
EDIT
In his address, Brownback said the lives of too many Kansans have not progressed economically. The people of Kansas are always realistic. So we must be honest too. There have been difficulties. Too many people have not progressed in recent years, in many cases held back by an economy that is growing too slowly or an overly paternalistic big government, Brownback said.
Compared to 2011 when Brownback became governor, the economy of Kansas, along with the rest of the country, is stronger. But the states financial situation appears similar: the governor faced a $500 million budget deficit when he was first sworn in; today he faces a deficit of more than $700 million in the next 18 months.
While acknowledging economic difficulties facing individuals, Brownbacks speech did not reference the states overall budget challenges, nor did it mention his policy of tax cuts, which is credited with reducing revenue to the state. Also not addressed: the ongoing federal grand jury investigation into loans to Brownbacks reelection campaign. The probe is believed to be focused on several $500,000 loans to the campaign from Lt. Gov. Jeff Colyer. In two cases, the loans were paid back shortly after they were made.
EDIT
At its core the renewal of America, comes down to the family. No government should ever be big enough to substitute for the family. While many of our problems are economic and we will be second to none in addressing them, the reality is the solutions are principally cultural and moral, Brownback said. While it isnt always easy to talk about, we should be talking about our culture and its renewal. We should be talking about things like character and courage. Faith and freedom. Sacrifice of self. Morals. Obligations and Responsibilities. Not as dictated by government, but as emitting from our hearts alive with a loving God.

(11,417 posts)They must like that kind of talk. Just love God and have a "normal" American family and you'll be OK.
If you run into any problems just poor some conservative ideology on them and all is well.

If they are too stupid to see what this man has done to their state, then they will reap the results.
I have sympathy for the ones who see what a dangerous fool he is.
