Conservative callers to liberal radio shows give me a laugh...

First of all, none of them are actual conservatives nor are they capitalists.

They WORK for capitalists or they work for people who work for capitalists, but they are not.

They are peons who are paid next to nothing working for conservative capitalists who abuse them.

If they understood what a conservative was, and they were willing to grow up and act like adults, they would admit and realize the LAST thing they are is conservative.

They're actually regressives, like Bob Reich has said. Real conservatives would never support people who run up unnecessary military spending and unemployment rates while in office. A real conservative would be, well...conservative and cautious about going to war. A conservative would want to keep our rights (such as voting) and the environment in tact. There's nothing conservative about today's GOP, and there hasn't been since Ike. Ironically, Democrats and self-proclaimed progressives would fit the definition of "conservative" much better.

4. Mark Thompson gets more than anyone else because he engages with them

They try to call Joe Madison but they can't handle him he demolishes them with facts and get them off there talking points real fast and they become speechless.And Karen Hunter won't even let them come on she cuts them off when they start there BS talking points.So they won't even call her show now she says she has no time for them because they don't add anything to the dialog and she's about solving problems

5. I have been looking for new sources of Liberal Talk Radio....

I loved and dearly miss Randi Rhodes....I listen to Thom Hartmann...but he is a bit too "soft" for me....I want a little more excitement in talk radio....If you have suggestions I would love to hear them. Even if they are not Firebrands...would love to have more options!

He is not exactly a firebrand (more like he gently eviscerates the right wingers with facts wrapped in charm - it's a thing of beauty to behold.)
