Its been a running joke for years in my family...the old when I was a kid story.....my kids crack up when me and their Mom use that line....and every time they jump in and improv the end.

Yeah Dad we know...you walked 10 miles on rusty nails to go to your one room log cabin school.

Yeah Mom we know....each morning during the blizzard of 1972 you rode a Donkey named Clarabelle to the well down the mountain to fetch a pail of water for your poor Daddy's cup of coffee.

I suspect someday my kids will be doing it to their kids.
