Morning rant: What exactly do they mean when they say "class warfare"?

Both Carly Fiorina and Paul Ryan dribbled out that phrase in things we "need to stop." But what the hell IS it?

Morning Joe was no help when those two were on. Mika (going solo since Joe and his family are all sick with the flu). Neither she nor anyone on the panel asked Carly and Paul what the hell they were talking about. Not one.

It would seem to me that in the midst of all this talk about helping the middle class more there can be some careful unpacking of the term "class warfare." Which class is making the warfare? And what IS the "warfare"? Define those terms more specifically for US, the voters, the public.

The Dems really have an opportunity to seize at the moment. Go bold! I don't think the party has a thing to lose ---and quite a bit we could win--- if it does.

Suggesting the rich pay a little more to help the middle and working classes

frequently generates this garbage from the Right..

As Warren Buffet said, "Sure there's class warfare, and my class is winning".

The fact that no one on the panel challenged this tripe sucks and lets you

know that Joe is "there" even when he's not.

such as

"when did asking folks to pay their fair share become a war?"

"isn't denying food stamps to people so they don't go hungry a form of "warfare"?

but for reasons unknown, at least to me, they often fail miserably at counterattack.

This has been pointed out SO often, that some think it's deliberate, that the corporate dems,

being half in bed with the opposition already, just refuse to fight openly for democratic principles.

The only time I recall any elected Democrat pushing back on the 'class warfare' line was Joe

Biden who, during the '08 election said "Class warfare? Where I come from it's called fairness".

As in, helping the "middle class." Wish I could track down the tweet but I got lost in the twisted logic and it didn't fully register.

It is classic sociopathic behavior, with a healthy dose of narcissism for extra flavor. The 1% are just spoon feed bed pissers who are afraid that REAL working people will ask for a fair deal. They deem that warfare, poor babies. Who the fuck in their right mind believes this tripe?
