could do better than you did. That was my parents' American dream, anyway. My sister and I were their American dream.

Of course, they didn't foresee that college graduates would be saying things like, "Want fries with that?" or "I'll see if we have that pump in your size."

...preferential tax treatment, humongous loopholes, corprat subsidies, funneling public money into private coffers, etc.
