a different person's made up story about a make believe person, who never existed, that we all found out was a lie when we were like 8 years old.

So, if at 8 years old, I was wise to the fact that Santa was a made up person, a figment of nothing more than imagination. How is it actually fucking newsworthy that I take a figment, and imagine it a different color than what someone else had imagined it to be?
