4. No, but there is a tendency for some here to believe that all people with darker skin

are Muslim and/or of a different race. That notion persists and is bigoted and racist.

6. I don't think that is the case, and unless you have been on the receiving end

of this sort of treatment, I'm sure that may seem to be the case. I speak to you from experience. There are people in this nation who see any shade of skin darker than white as being "black" and, by extrapolation, unequal. Furthermore, there are also people who tend to assume that people who are identifiable as being from the Middle East, in particular, are all Muslim and, by extrapolation, potential terrorist. These beliefs and mindsets exist. Discounting them as anything other than bigotry or racism perpetuates the stereotypes.
