Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsK&R if you agree the Clintons and their team took over Dem powestructures for their self interests..
And if you believe is has lasted for too long now.
First of all HRC is not yet the nominee so it is still no problem to criticize their over powerfull leading inside the Dem party in particular and in U.S politics in general.
Because within Clintonites the Democratic world is only black and white. If yoy are not standing with them ccompletly therefore you are automatically a RWer /troll etc. That particulary apply when you d like better see another candidate running, no matter would be Warren , Sanders, Biden...
Dont you think its in fine UnDemocratic that a whole party pledges automatically blind and criticless alleagence to a single family , without any consideration for the issues or what they have to offer, without debating their goods and bads.... simply because Bill and Hillary Clinton have the name recognition that fits, the network that fits, the hype that fits....

(14,255 posts)Jeb Bush is going to sound exactly like a real Conservative. Because he is one.
Hillary is going to have trouble sounding like a real liberal or Progressive. Because she is not one.
It seems to me that the Third Way thinks being a DINO and centrist and corporate will sway GOP voters to vote Dem.
No, it will not. It will not really inspire anyone to vote any differently than they would have.
Plus, the GOP will be fired up at the chance to re-take the White House.

"Poor poor Democrats are sooo stupid right?" Is that your position?

(2,992 posts)a little bit. The truth might be bitter. .. but for the sake of real progressism it will work for the good.

(70 posts)think the Bushes and Clinton's talk about on the long weekends they spend together? The two families are political machines and with Wall Street money they will be in power in 2016. We already see the Clinton's son in law with his own hedge fund and the Bush grand kids in politics.
I don't like what I see.

(86,005 posts)...you have to get people to vote for you. The rest, like your diatribe about Clinton's self-interest, may well be true and important to keep in mind, but it's not the stuff that will defeat her. The ONLY thing that will defeat Clinton is a candidate who convinces the majority of voters to vote for them on election day; whether that comes from name recognition, power-broking, media-hogging, money, or whatever. Clinton understood this; so did Obama. Until you find a candidate to support, and until that candidate finds a way to appeal to the majority of voters, Clinton (or someone else who understands the basic rule for getting elected) will gain valuable ground.
Spend your time promoting your candidate and leave this worthless, weak grousing to losers and republican scum.
Btw, I'm hoping (for whatever that's worth) that we get a progressive candidate to the point where they can win the primaries.

(24,692 posts)Of course, much of that belief is the "looking in the mirror" effect but they consistently proclaim that Democrats are after power and money rather than the good of the middle class and workers.

(7,830 posts)They're the reason we have "centrist" Democrats supposedly to the LEFT of rethugs, while regular Democrats are "Left wing" dems. Hijackers.
