Alan BrennertThe New Twilight Zone (1985-1989)
Great news! My old friend and NTZ colleague, the talented William Goldstein--who composed the scores for "Her Pilgrim Soul" and "Time and Teresa Golowitz" as well as "The Card"--has finally received permission from CBS to release an album of his three superb TWILIGHT ZONE scores. Here's the beautiful cover to the CD, which will be available toward the end of March through iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and other platforms across the world. Bill's score retains a special place in my heart and this is an exciting event for me; and, I hope, for all of you, too.

This album represents the first release of any music from the CBS television New Twilight Zone series of the mid-to-late 80s. The album contains the scores from three classic episodes. Her Pilgrim Soul, The Card, Time and Teresa Golowitz. These scores are both haunting and beautiful! When Wes Craven, who directed Her Pilgrim Soul, heard Goldstein's score, he immediately hired Goldstein to score his next movie Shocker.
The "Slate" at the end of the video is from one of the Goldstein TZ sessions.
