General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsGas bumped up today. Up from $1.71 to $1.79 where I'm at. The first time in months I've had
both tanks on my truck full. Lately I had been buying gas ten bucks at a time as it was dropping. I hadn't bought gas like that in years. I would always fill at least one tank full if I was bothering to stop at all. I just hated the thought I was buying more than I needed right at the time and would see it cheaper and cheaper every day.
I became convinced it hit bottom last week and filled one tank. Saw it jump up eight cents and filled the other. That may be a months worth of gas for me. I hope it stays low for quite awhile, even if it goes up some.

(38,321 posts)I buy gasoline a few times a year whether I need to or not.
Gasoline gets stale.
It would be a much better world if everyone could live like that.
For my wife and I, it took a little planning and a lot of good fortune.
We are not entirely dependent upon our cars for work or groceries.
