Written threat found but no bomb discovered at Offutt Air Force Base construction site

A bomb threat was discovered written inside a portable toilet today at the construction site of the new U.S. Strategic Command headquarters facility at Offutt Air Force Base. But after military working dogs checked out the area near the toilet, no threat was identified, according to a release from the Air Force.
A safety cordon was lifted within the fence line and work at the construction site was returning to normal early Tuesday evening.
No on-base facilities were evacuated and no movement restrictions were implemented outside the construction site during the investigation of the threat.
