Oh Dear, Doris Payne Arrested Again
Doris, one of the most entertaining jewel thieves ever, has been arrested for trespassing.

The infamous octogenarian was spotted by a jewelry maker who had been warned days earlier that Payne was in the area.
“Are you Doris Payne?” shop owner Gigi Gruber asked, according to the news site.
The woman said no, but then gave “a cute little wink and went on her way,” Gruber told SFGate.com.
Payne was tossed in a California jail in November 2013 after she was accused of stealing a $22,500 ring in Palm Desert.
“The Life and Crimes of Doris Payne” documentary — which explores claims the West Virginia-native was behind several heists across the globe, including the theft of a 10.5-carat diamond in Monte Carlo — was released that same year.

I saw it on Al Jazeera network,and it's one of the most entertaining documentaries I've ever seen. Doris is a truly unique character.
After watching it, one has to wonder: are we born to a certain occupation? You've heard the expression "He's a born newspaperman." Could one be a born jewel thief? After seeing this documentary, you may wonder.
Yes, she's a criminal, and still plying her trade--at age 84!
